As always, our award-winning winery and tasting room will be open for tastings, tours, and plenty of fun! Come out and visit us this weekend in Driftwood and Austin for a great time.
On your way to the Duchman Winery make sure to swing by the Creekside Pavilion this Saturday, September 10th for the Dripping with Taste Wine Festival. From 12 to 7 p.m. taste a selection of our famous Duchman Wines along with several other wines from some of the top producers in Central Texas. In addition to your wine tasting, a ticket also provides you the opportunity to view several cooking demonstrations, as well as a Wine Tasting 101 class given by Duchman Winery’s own Bill Elsey. After visiting Driftwood on Saturday, save Sunday the 11th for your trip to the Escoffier Culinary Academy of Austin for the Austin-San Antonio regional Chefs under Fire Competition 2011! Beginning at 6:30 p.m. this unique event matches some of the areas top up and coming chefs up against each other in a head to head cooking competition. Join guest sommelier, Bill Elsey from Duchman Family Winery and witness the competition first hand. Judging the finale is a panel of local Celebrity Chefs, who will announce this years winner of the Austin-San Antonio regional: Chef’s Under Fire 2011! Get your tickets to this truly exciting event here before they sell out.
We hope to see you at the winery or at any of these great events this weekend. If you make it out please come by and say “HI” as we love to meet our supporters!
